Building a Legacy
The University of Windsor wanted to revitalize their engineering program to maintain their reputation as a leader in academic research and scientific study well into the future. They knew that it would take a great innovation to accomplish, and for this reason brought B+H Architects on board to design their new flagship facility. The Centre for Engineering Innovation (CEI) is designated to be a living building where students can learn from the electrical, mechanical, civil and environmental engineering systems that are displayed throughout. It was constructed of recycled materials where possible, and will incorporate a green roof, water recycling, low energy heating and other sustainable systems. It offers more classrooms and meeting rooms, exceptional laboratory facilities, and the latest technological tools for 21st century learning. This landmark building greatly enhances the student experience at UWindsor. This video was produced for PCR Contractors Inc.
